The 2023 Academic Conference of Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Large Submersible Electric Pump and Equipment was successfully held!

On May 20, 2023, the 2023 Academic Conference of the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Large Submersible Electric Pumps and Equipment, sponsored by Hefei HENGDA JIANGHAI Pump Co., Ltd., the supporting unit of the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Large Submersible Electric Pumps and Equipment, was successfully held at the Kaiyuan Hotel on Anhui Expressway! The theme of this conference is "Digital Empowerment, Assisting Mining, Water Resources, Urban Drainage Safety, and Smart Pump Stations". The leaders and experts attending the conference include 3 academicians, more than 30 department level cadres, more than 40 senior professors, and more than 80 research and design units to discuss the development and future research directions of submersible water pumps and equipment.

At the meeting, Zhu Qinglong, Director of the Key Laboratory, Secretary of the Party Committee of Anhui HENGDA Control Group, and Chairman of HENGDA JIANGHAI, delivered a welcome speech and gave a work report. He said: Since being rated as an excellent laboratory in 2020, the key laboratory has been continuously exploring and innovating. As a national manufacturing champion enterprise, HENGDA JIANGHAI has withstood the pressure of the epidemic for three years, always driven by "technological innovation" and focusing on brand quality construction. "Digitization" empowers the development of submersible pumps, further developing intelligent manufacturing, assisting in mine drainage safety and smart pump station construction, committed to solving major national demand bottlenecks, and contributing to the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

During this period, Academician Chen Xuedong, academician of the CAE Member, chairman of the National Industrial Foundation Expert Committee, and chief engineer and deputy general manager of Sinoma Group, regretted that he could not be present in person. He specially recorded a video speech for this meeting. He stated that HENGDA JIANGHAI, as a national level champion demonstration enterprise, a specialized and innovative small giant enterprise of the Ministry of and Information Technology, and a national high-tech enterprise, has been striving towards intelligence in the process of major technological equipment research and development, which is in line with national strategic policies. Subsequently, Academician Wu Qiang, academician of the CAE Member and director of the National Coal Mine Water Disaster Prevention Engineering Technology Research Center, made a special report on the "current situation of mine water prevention and control and intelligent drainage equipment (system)". The report makes requirements for submersible pump drainage systems based on the types and distribution of coal mine water hazards. At the same time, Academician Wu affirmed the various scientific research achievements of the key laboratory and proposed that the next step of work should clarify the expected goals: to unite domestic advantageous forces such as universities and well-known enterprises, and play a good role as a bridge and link between the key laboratory and domestic scientific research units.

Wu Jie from the Water Resources and Hydropower Planning and Design Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources gave a special report on "Digital (Intelligent) Design of Pump Stations". She introduced the background of digital pump station design, digital pump station design methods, and their applications. Emphasize the need to comply with the requirements of the Party, the state, and the Ministry of Water Resources, with the goal of supporting the water network to be "complete, safe and reliable, intensive and efficient, green and intelligent, with smooth circulation and orderly regulation", and build a digital pumping station platform for the entire life cycle of design, manufacturing, installation, and operation and maintenance.
