On January 18, the 30th anniversary celebration of Anhui Hengda Automation Control Group (hereinafter referred to as "Hengda Automation Control" or "the Group") was grandly held.

Thirty years ago, Zhu Qinglong, Party Committee Secretary and President of Anhui Hengda Automation Control Group, took the initiative to resign from his position and venture into business, leading Xu Chuanyun, Yang Yong, and Zhu Qingshi to establish Hengda Automation Company. They embarked resolutely on an entrepreneurial journey. Through a decade of weathering hardships and striving forward, another ten years of confronting challenges and driving development, and a further decade of building dreams through innovation and setting sail anew, Hengda Automation Control has continuously soared. Evolving from a four-person startup team to a group company with over 400 employees, and achieving global recognition for prestigious projects like the Zhongse Luanshya New Mine in Zambia and the Huaibei Xinhu Mine—two "century projects"—Hengda Automation Control has attained remarkable accomplishments, demonstrating exceptional "hard power" in technological innovation. The 30th anniversary celebration marks a significant milestone in the Group's development history and serves as a new starting point for realizing the dream of building a century-old enterprise and brand.

In his address, Zhu Qinglong stated that over the past three decades, Hengda Automation Control has witnessed the achievements of China's reform and opening-up, expressing gratitude for the opportunities afforded by the era. Through unwavering perseverance and adherence to an innovation-driven development strategy, the company has continuously overcome technical challenges and iteratively upgraded its products. It has earned numerous honors, including the National Manufacturing Single Champion and the National Key Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New (SRUN) "Little Giant" Enterprise, maintaining internationally leading standards amid fierce market competition.

Standing at this new historical starting point, Hengda Automation Control recognizes more clearly than ever that intelligent and digital economies have become mainstream trends of the times, where opportunities coexist with risks, and the mission ahead grows even more demanding. The company will adhere to a pragmatic approach, guided by the strategic direction of "Intelligent Drive + Internationalization, Main Drainage Specialization, and Systemization," to further expand into international markets. It will continue its dedicated efforts in contributing to the national water network, urban flood control, and intelligent mine drainage construction.

Remarks by Wang Jingjun, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Nonferrous Metals (Luanshya) Copper Co., Ltd.

In his address, Wang Jingjun elaborated on the dewatering project at the Zhongse Luanshya New Mine in Zambia, describing it as a world-class challenge involving a shaft depth exceeding 1,200 meters and requiring the drainage of a volume equivalent to more than ten times that of West Lake. Under the steadfast leadership and sustained promotion of the China Nonferrous Metals Group, and through collaborative efforts with domestic partners, Zhongse Luanshya achieved a major technological breakthrough in drainage via the "Unveiling the List and Appointing the Commander" project.

Selecting the most capable, highest-performing, and safest drainage equipment with optimal controllability worldwide posed another significant challenge. After conducting a global equipment selection and tendering process, Hengda Jianghai, a subsidiary of Hengda Automation Control Group, ultimately secured the contract with its superior products and exceptional services.

Since the mine commenced drainage operations, Hengda's equipment has demonstrated outstanding performance. To date, the project has successfully drained over 40 million cubic meters of water, resulting in a water level reduction of more than 300 meters.

In his address, Kong Yuelong spoke highly of Hengda Automation Control's remarkable achievements in a challenging market environment. He expressed his hope that Hengda Jianghai Pump Industry would continue to increase investment in scientific research, drive intelligent transformation, build an internationalized, main-drainage-focused, and systematic industrial chain, deepen its presence in both domestic and international markets, navigate through the competitive "red ocean," strengthen internal management, and continue to provide platforms for employee growth to unleash talent vitality.

Looking back on the journey, under Zhu Qinglong's leadership, Hengda Automation Control achieved national leadership in beer automation and customs material automation in less than five years after its establishment. Over two decades, it transformed the near-bankrupt Hefei Motor Factory into a National Manufacturing Single Champion enterprise. Within seven years, it expanded and strengthened Anhui Huaxiang Food, a leading agricultural industrialization enterprise in Anhui. The Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory for Large Submersible Pump Equipment, which it spearheaded, received an "Excellent" rating twice and was selected as the first representative case to be showcased by the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The Group has obtained more than 200 patents (including over 100 invention patents), participated in drafting seven national standards, and led or participated in drafting 15 industry standards. By focusing on integrating high-tech enterprises with traditional industries, it has made outstanding contributions to positioning China's large intelligent submersible pumps as global leaders.
